Young has moved from North Carolina to Los Angeles, landing roles as Cathy Metsker and Rachel in JJ Abrams Mission Impossible: 3 which stars Tom Cruise and Keri Russel. In 2016, she appeared in an independent movie called Bernard and Huey with Jim Rash and David Koechner. The live-action Disney version of A Wrinkle in Time, with Oprah Winfrey Reese Witherspoon Mindy Kaing and Reese witherspoon in the year 2018, was her debut major performance.
