April Lockhart is a born on July 4th April, 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking piano and guitar lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm to write songs. At the age of 12 when she wrote her first single Different. The year she turned 14 was when she was devoted for a long period of time in making song lyrics and working on her music. After that, she started taking excursions to write with her father, who lived in NY as well as LA. April added other themes to the song "Take My Hand" for some of acquaintances who faced problems like peer pressure, disabilities, and even teens who committed suicide. Lockhart also enjoys an increasing following as a lifestyle influencer and is employed by the renowned brand of clean and natural beauty Ilia. As a woman born with no left hand, she is a major part of her. It's however not the entire tale. Lockhart acknowledges her handicap in her posts on Instagram, however she does not make it the main focus of it. It's a message. We are all more than the physical person we are. Our identities are complicated and encompass a variety of elements. Lockhart stated in a video interview that she didn't want to be defined by her physical disability. She doesn't wish to become a disability advocate who only speaks about it. There are a variety of aspects to Lockhart. It doesn't impact my daily living. I do the things I normally would and I've adapted to the limitations of my disability. It's also part of me and I feel it's essential to discuss. Lockhart is a huge example to other women with regards to acceptance of oneself. She admits that she has gone through periods of feeling insecure about her physique and being uncomfortable in certain clothes which showed her arms. The woman now puts on whatever clothes she wants and posts pictures on Facebook in awe. She says that self-love is a journey. I'm not sure whether you'll get to the point of no return. This is true for everyone, regardless of their insecurity. People you associate yourself with that truly understand your personal story and who can look into your heart are the ones you should be relying on to remind you of what you're worrying about.
