Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30, 1941) was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been wed with Richard Herbert Cheney for over thirty years. When he was 13 years old, Bruce accompanied his parents from Nebraska to Casper (in Wyoming, the State of Wyoming) in Wyoming, where his father served as director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's the district for soil conservation.
