Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her leading roles on a number of TV shows, as well as her powerhouse acting in films. The actress is popular on Canadian and American television. When Emily was twelve, she started to get attracted to acting when she visited her older sister Katie on the set of one of her films. As soon as she discovered that acting was a passion, Emily began to take acting lessons and attend auditions. The first time she auditioned was with couple of ads, and was soon cast in Are You Afraid Of The Dark A Canadian horror film for children. The only scene that she could get was one with no sound. At the age of fifteen, Emily made her first big break when she was made regular on the WB Television show Glory Days. Emily's talents attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the series was cancelled after only nine episodes. He subsequently cast Emily for Everwood which is his upcoming TV show. Emily was also a photographer and ballerina was recognized by Teen magazine as one of the best actresses younger than 20. She was ranked the 51st on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
